Rojo Tango

Buenos Aires is the birthplace and the world capital of tango, a rhythm that was created along the banks of the Rio de la Plata, at the end of the 19th century, as a fusion of European and African music. The Tango is manifested in the lyrics (any of the words used in the tango come from lunfardo or porteños’ slang), in the music (the bandoneón provided the music from the Rio de la Plata, with its melancholic and somewhat sullen sound that characterizes tango today), and in the dance.

Enjoy one of the best shows in the city at La Esquina Carlos Gardel! More than 40 artists on stage, between dancers and musicians, highlighting tango vocalist Fernando Soler, who created and produces this fantastic show, with state-of-the art technology — a great display of performances.

Green salad with white wine poached pears prosciutto and feta cheese vinaigrette

Fresh fish marinated in citric juices and green bell pepper with soy sauce cream and sweet potatoes chips

Caramelized onion and goat cheese tart with honey and thyme vinaigrette

Entrees:

Salmon, chickpeas purée, broad beans and pecan nuts salad with fresh
herbs vinaigrette

Braised duck with cumin and lime sauce over sautéed cherry tomatoes, arugula and crispy mandioca

Bacon wrapped veal tenderloin with rosemary potatoes and “criolla” sauce

Dessert:

Frozen lime cake with coconut sauce

“Dulce de leche” cream with cocoa crispy

Chocolate cooked cream with caramelized almonds

Dinner is served with champagne Baron B., Terrazas Reserva Malbec
& Chardonnay; beer, sodas, sparkling and still mineral water
